Design and certification
We design fire detection systems to the correct category for the building's use (L1 through L5, P1, P2 or M) and produce the documentation required by building control, fire officers and insurers. New systems are commissioned to I.S. 3218 with a full certificate.
Maintenance and takeovers
A significant share of our fire work is maintenance — quarterly inspections, logbook updates, replacement of failed detectors and call points, and annual service certificates. We regularly take over fire systems installed by other companies and bring them back to standard.
Integration with other systems
Fire detection is interfaced with the access control system so that controlled doors release automatically on alarm, with intruder systems where required, and with disabled refuge call points and voice alarm systems in larger premises.
